This information will allow us to provide the most accurate possible preliminary estimate and timeline, so you can make an informed decision regarding if we are the best fit for your project. Please note that we are typically booking projects 3 to 6 months in advance, so reach out early!
What is your cost structure?
It is the mission of KC Construction to be transparent with our clients throughout the entire process – we are a Time and Materials + Fixed Fee-based company. This means that within our invoices, we include a time log for all work completed, and all costs are clearly documented and receipts included for all material purchases.

We work very hard to keep our costs reasonable, with the understanding that quality and completing projects in a timely manner are our top priorities – we do not cut corners, and we compensate our team and trade partners at a level that respects the value of their work and craftsmanship. We feel deeply honored that most KC Constuction clients choose us not always because we are the lowest GC bid they have recieved, but because they appreciate our work.
What does communication with your team look like?
From estimate to final space, we work hard keep our clients updated on progress and the status of the project. As the different elements of a project are scheduled, clients will receive notification of who will be onsite, and when. We also send notification regarding the timeline of product orders, and if there are any unforeseen delays or adjustments to the schedule.

We know questions can arise throughout a home renovation project, so we keep an open dialogue with our clients throughout the project, to make sure everyone is on the same page, and to help you navigate essential decisions, like making finish selections!
What is your service area?
We are based in Parker and serve the Denver Metro Area and as far south as Castle Rock.
Yes, we carry general liability (GL) insurance. Any Trade Partners contributing to your project will carry their own coverage.
Are you insured?
How do you handle unforseeables?
With any remodeling project, you can’t see everything until exposed. We over-communicate every unforseeable we encounter and involve you in the process and solution. Any changes are discussed prior and agreed upon by you prior to us taking any action.
How long does it take to get an estimate?
We will reply to you within 3 business days to begin the process of building your estimate. We may have follow up questions for you to clarify the scope of work and depending on your project, we may need to consult with our trade partners to compile the most accurate possible quote, which can take 1-2 weeks. Once we have sent you an initial broad estimate, if it fits you needs and budget, we will schedule an onsite meeting to finalize design, verify dimensions, and provide a more detailed final estimate.
